Dear Brian, greetings from small Finnish town - Kristiinankaupunki - with lots of traditional wooden houses. Our old church is wooden too. This new one is made of brick. I am writing in a newspaper too, plus chief-editing a home town magazine. Happy postcrossing!
From William - Shaanxi, China
Hi Brian, Nice to meet you by postcard. Postcards are always the souvenirs and memories of my travelling. This one is peasant painting, folk art, from Shaanxi, which I bought in front of Shaanxi history museum when I visited Xian. Being on the the ancient cities of China, soldiers and horse figures (wood and clay ones (?) burried (sic) with dead in Qin dynasty) is the most famous historical spot. Hope you like it!

Dear Brian, This is my first postcard to a stranger. Feel free to be proud! I'm at work now, Saturday morning. i work at the local newspaper. I don't get to write anything yet, but I have my own desk and I answer e-mails. I started today by searching through the building for stamps. How come the newspaper doesn't have stamps? It's a small office, but still. Now I'll have to buy my own, or you'll never get this card.

From Vera - Moscow
Hi Brian! Greetings from Moscow. My name is Vera. I choose this card for you. Now Moscow Underground has 175 stations all in all and is 200 km long connecting the most distant areas of Moscow. It's the fastest, most convenient and undoubtedly, most beautiful and favorite transport for the Muscovites and the guests at the capital. About 9 million people use it daily! Hope you like it! Best wishes, Vera.
(BK: Vera isn't kidding. I've ridden subways in Paris, London, Budapest, Madrid, New York, Atlanta and San Francisco and not a single one can hold a candle to the beauty of the Moscow Metro. It was one of my favorite parts of visiting the city. I still remember the stop nearest where we stayed: Tulskaya.)

Dear Brian,
Here is a postcard from Glebe, one the most eccentric 'burbs in Sydney. My particular favourite is the shop called Glebe Books. It's got an amazing collection of old and new books, foreign literature and films. Right next to it is another book store called Saphros Book. It's all second hand bincluding some rare music scores and the word is that serve one of the best chous (?) in town. So there go a couple of things for you to do when you finally visit one of the two remaining continents. Happy Travelling!

Hi Brian!
You can see on the front of the card one of the important reasons why Frankfurt is normally well known: banks! But that's not the reason I love to live here. This city is really multicultural, so one can learn a lot about every culture. Furthermore, I adventure every day something new :-) Best wishes,

From Marloes - Amersterdam, Holland
This postcard was sent to you from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I see you love to travel so you probably already visited my city! It's known for art, tulips, soft drugs, gay tolerance and of course lots and lots of bikes. I'm one of the many who take the bike to work every day and I love it!
- Marloes
(BK: I have switched planes in Amsterdam on the way to and from Budapest, but I don't really think that counts. Fun note: this is the second time I've received this postcard.)
From Cloris - China
